The Crib Is In

The Crib is finally in! The room is really coming together now.  Its amazing how the time goes by when you really set your mind to getting ready for the big day.  It seems like such a short time to February.

Let The Decorating Begin

Today the babies room was painted (which too the ENTIRE day) a light grey with white trim.  The window treatments were hung and its time to start coordinating the rest of the room.  One major step down!

Baby Girl!

A little late posting this but we found out that our little bundle of joy is indeed a girl! I, of course, knew it all along naturally. Haha

We are very excited to finally have a direction for decorating, names, and other baby purchases.  It was amazing seeing her move around on the ultrasound but what was even more amazing was being able to see her in 3D moving around.

This video is short and it looks a little strange but its our baby, moving around in there.  Just for reference, you can see her little hand and thumb up by her mouth.  Hope that helps.

Genetic Testing Day

 

Today was the genetic testing where they can use ultrasounds to start looking for genetic issues based on certain measurements.  Our baby looks completely normal so that's good.  Plus we got some awesome pictures as well.

Got to hear the heart beat really well today.  They even got a visual snapshot of it as well.  It was pretty cool to see the little thing beating on the ultrasound screen as well.  It looked like a little fuzzy spot shaking in the middle.

She even did a '3D' ultrasound as well.  This is looking from the top down at the baby.  Imagine it laying in your lap looking at you.

 

Another shot from the top this time it looks like a gummy bear. Head on top, little hand bumps and little feet bumps as well.

Second Ultrasound

This is a picture of the first major ultrasound of the baby.  This is just under 11 weeks.  We still can't see too much other than a big head, on the left and the little foot on the right.
